How to add custom modules to Joomla templates

This joomla tutorial goes over the basics of joomla modules and how they integrate with joomla template system. By the end of the video you will have a better understanding of how to create and position custom modules in the Joomla CMS.

The module doesn't cover how to create postition in a custom template, you can do this by modifying your template files, however if you are using a free template or have purchased a joomla template then you should already have preset positions in which to place modules.

Modules can be arranged and set to show on individual pages or on all sub pages under a main page or category.
